This volunteer role covers 1 or days per week (expenses paid)
BlindAid are running a community project in Southwark, offering a wide variety of support programmes to blind and visually impaired people, based at the Southwark Resource Centre, 10 Bradenham Cl, London SE17 2QB. The project runs on Mondays and Tuesdays 10am – 3pm.
Volunteers will have responsibility for greeting and helping to guide Service Users around the facility, assisting service users during classes and liaising with the Community Project Coordinator.
Due to the current covid-19 pandemic, we are currently looking for volunteers who would like to support isolated, visually impaired Londoners over the phone and we will be restarting our community projects as soon as is safe to do so.
