BlindAid provides a telephone support service for those who may not choose to have a regular Home Visitor.
Our Telephone Service is available to blind and partially sighted people who reside in any of the Inner London Boroughs.
A regular friendly telephone call offers an opportunity for a chat, advice, help and companionship over the phone.
Calls are made at a mutually convenient prearranged time. We aim to call each service user once a fortnight. An average call lasts for around 20 minutes.
We are also able to make referrals to social service/sensory teams and other organisations or charities that may also be helpful.
